Eating with Mindfulness
In our hectic paced society , we rarely take time to slow down and experience deeply nourishing the body with what we eat.  Mindful eating is the awareness of how the food we eat impacts our body , mind, emotions, spiritual life, and state of consciousness.
When we focus on how we eat, our food cravings and the amount we eat automatically shift to  support our highest good.   Through the journey of inner awareness, we can learn what our hidden hungers truly are.   By slowing down the manner in which we eat, we  become more aware of what we truly desire and what deeply satisfies.
This workshop explores what, how and why we eat, and how that can serve as a vehicle to transform our lives.  Our guided eating experience supports discovery of aromas, tastes and textures in a deeper way heightening awareness of how foods affect our body, mind, and spirit. This sacred daily act of eating can  become a spiritual practice unto itself bringing one into a deep communion with our very core essence and spirit within.
(2 to 3 sent).  Mindful eating is the awareness of how the food we eat impacts our body, emotions, mind and spiritual life.  This workshop will provide an opportunity to explore how we eat, and through a guided eating experience begin to make choices from a deeper place within.
Pranayma Workshop/The Power of Breath/Movement/ and Stillness
“In the work of Pranayama, the back is the blackboard, the air comes in to write, and the mind holds the chalk.” Iyengar.           Pranayama is 5oo times more powerful than asana.
All life rests in the breath.  How we use our breath affects both the body and mind in subtle and profound ways.  The ancient yogis developed techniques able to shift the energy systems of the body and move prana(life force) through the chakras of the body to build health and flow.
This workshop will explore ways to increase/decrease energy……and guide the body into a very deep place of introversion and profound inner stillness.  From here, spirit speaks…….
